ITMA to present at keynote conference
ITMA president, Alfred Graham, has been confirmed as one of the key speakers at this year’s China Rubber Conference and Expo.
The event, which runs from 25-28 March in Qingdao, is now in its 8th year and will include a number of key sessions covering topics such as production machinery, through to technical items including natural and synthetic rubber. Delegates will also be given the opportunity to visit factories around the city.
As part of his presentation, Graham will provide attendees with an overview of the current trends and issues affecting the European market.
ITMA’s invitation comes as a result of a meeting held last year and ongoing discussions between the Association and the Chinese Rubber Industry Association (CRIA). CRIA has some 1,200 members and this latest initiative forms part of ITMA’s wider strategy to develop closer links with non-European tyre manufacturers.
“We are delighted to have been invited to present at the CRIA conference,” comments Alfred Graham. “Last year’s event attracted some 4,000 delegates from more than 20 different countries so this is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness about ITMA and the numerous benefits we are able to offer individual manufacturers and brands.”
