KENDA presents first All-season tires at The Tire Cologne
The Taiwanese tire manufacturer KENDA presents a new slogan and an expanded product range with its first All-season tire at the Cologne fair (Hall 6, stand number C-020), between May 29 and June 1 this year.
KENDA has clearly arrived on the European market. With the new slogan “Designed to Perform”, the company has its new focus on the quality and variety of products developed specifically for the European market.
KENETICA 4S – first All-season tire from KENDA
With the KENETICA 4S – for “Four Seasons” – KENDA is not only presenting a new product, but is expanding its portfolio with a completely new product type. KENDA is thus responding to the current trend and the high demand for tires that are suitable all year round, thereby underlining its own competitiveness.
As the first European All-season tire from KENDA, the KENETICA 4S has been designed specifically for the conditions in Europe. The directional siped tires will be available from the second half of the year. For 2018, KENDA plans the initial introduction of 28 sizes, with more to come in the following year.
Also in the planning for 2019: an All-season SUV tire.
New sizes for current products
In addition to the new high-tech product, KENDA is also expanding the range of the already established tire types. Due to a high level of acceptance and demand, the classic KENDA EMERA A1 and WINTER GEN 2 are now available in other sizes as well. This should especially please existing national and international distributors who will be present in large numbers at The Tire Cologne. With an attractive product expansion, KENDA also secures interest from new partners.
For the current KENDA flagship, the EMERA A1 (HP / UHP – summer tire), the company will offer 19 additional dimensions in the range between 16 and 19 inch in the second half of the year to have a total of 50 available sizes. The test results of the Finnish company TEST WORLD, which strengthened the reputation of the EMERA A1 as a premium product at an economy price, will lead to increased demand here.
In addition, the PCR winter tire WINTERGEN2 KR501 will be available in 23 new sizes in the 2018 season. Among them are eight more dimensions of 18 and 19 inch. KENDA delivers a very good winter tire selection with a total of 59 sizes.
The van winter tire, the KOMMENDO WINTER 1 range, remains at the current 21 dimensions, which already represents a good market coverage. This KR 500 winter tire for vans will also be presented at the KENDA stand at The Tire Cologne.
Open exhibition stand with product focus
Our new slogan – “Designed to Perform“– shows that KENDA puts the product and its high level of quality in the foreground. This is reflected in the design of the KENDA stand at The Tire Cologne. A stylized road leads visitors from the outer area to the center of the stand where an oversized KENDA tire with integrated LED wall presents the company as the centerpiece. The greater part of the inviting stand will be used for product presentation.
KENDA invites conversation, which is why the Chairman – YingMing Yang and Vice Chairman – Jimmy Yang and members of the Marketing Division of KENDA will be on location. In addition to Michael Andre (Marketing & sales manager Europe – automotive) and Sabrina Kühl (Key account manager Europe), Frits van der Steege will be at The Tire Cologne. As leader of KENDA Europe Technical Center (KETC), Frits will report on the development projects, which are currently in the pipeline for KENDA and which bring us another step closer to having a full portfolio.
Additionally present on location: Pearl Chang (Assistant Vice-president Export), James Lo (Export Sales Director), Allen Tsai (Account Manager Export KENDA Taiwan) and Timothy Wu (Automotive Product Manager).
The KENDA stand at The Tire Cologne 2018 will be in Hall 6, stand number C-020.
