ITMA latest news
Federal Tire joins ITMA
Leading Taiwanese tyre manufacturer, Federal Tire, is the latest company to join the Imported Tyre Manufacturers Association (ITMA).
Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, Federal has overseas distributors in more than 70 countries around the world for its range of passenger car, SUV and light truck tyres.
As a member of ITMA, Federal will receive a wealth of timely, regular updates on technical and legislative matters affecting the sale of tyres within the EU, helping it to ensure its products remain fully compliant for sale.
“We are delighted to welcome another major, established global tyre manufacturer into the ITMA ranks,” comments Alfred Graham, president, ITMA. “Despite being such a recognised international brand, Federal’s membership reinforces the extra levels of support and intelligence that tyre manufacturers need when operating in Europe, and we look forward to being able to provide this assistance.”
