Testing Times

We for manufacturers all face challenges on a number of fronts as once again the legislative environment in which we all operate shifts up a gear. Here is just a flavour of some of the areas we are all busy working on.
- New methodology for testing the PAH content of tyres. EN16143 will replace the current IP346 test.
- New lower noise values for car or CV tyres.
- Proposal for a new snow grip requirement for C3 tyres.
- New separate regulations for TPMS.
and so it goes on.
