Following the construction of a brand new 625,000 square metre manufacturing plant in Jiaozuo, ITMA member Aeolus Tyre, who is China’s fifth largest tyre maker, has announced it is moving into the passenger tyre market.
The company’s new facility has a production capacity of some six million tyres a year which will complement its existing light truck, heavy truck, bus, military and industrial tyre ranges.
Founded in 1965, the company currently exports to more than 180 countries including many across Europe, where it has been active since 2002.
